Luzerne Intermediate Unit # 18 is a regional educational service agency that is one of 29 Intermediate Units formed by the Pennsylvania State Legislature to provide support to local school districts, non-public schools, approved private schools and educational partners in support of the approximate 50,000 students in our service area. The Luzerne Intermediate Unit provides innovative, responsive, and cost-effective solutions as needed by the educational community throughout our region.
